• Lindsey passes away 1996
• Michael And Kathleen arrested July 24 1998. Charged with second degree murder
• Michael and Kathleen held on 1 million dollar bond and remain in Jail
• Trial postponed on Dec 5 1998
• March 30, 1999 trial begins
• May 7 1999 the jury is hung 10-2 for acquittal 
• May 16 1999 bail is reduced to $20,000 Gentry's make bail and are released
• April 14, 2000 Second Trial Begins. Gentry's now charged with Manslaughter
• Gentry's reject multiple offers to go free if they plead guilty to child abuse
• Current Trial Information is listed below. The Trial is ongoing and a verdict will probably not be rendered until mid-end of May
• Update May 28, 2000 the case went to the jury on May 13, 2000. I have no additional reports yet and assume that the jury is still deliberating. If they are this definitely would be a very long deliberation.
• June 5 The verdict is in and the Gentrys' are found guilty
• July 6th Michael sentenced to six years in jail. Kathleen four years,
• Eligible for probation in 7.5months for Kathleen and 2o months for Micheal
